Event Details

In studies of successful leaders, emotional intelligence accounted for more than twice IQ and technical skills combined in determining who would be successful. At least 80 percent of future success was attributed to emotional intelligence.

This workshop will help you better understand your emotions and manage them more effectively so that you bring your best thinking to your leadership.

You will come away with…

  • An understanding of emotional intelligence and its value to you personally and professionally
  • An understanding of the science behind emotional intelligence
  • Increased self-awareness, learning and techniques to manage your own emotions and your relationships with others more skillfully

Instructor: Christie Hammes, MAP’s director of Strategic Services, is accredited as a leadership trainer and facilitator through the Institute for Health and Human Potential, a Toronto-based international research and learning organization that uses emotional intelligence (EI) to leverage performance and leadership.

Cost includes materials and lunch.
